I agree with that point. No. They don't feel comfortable around us. And yes they feel very comfortable taking our money (A major contradition). Also they clearly have no respect for us to use such "unsavory business practices". It's back-door racism to smile in our faces, take our money and call us derogatory names behind our backs. But getting beyond that very obvious point;
Martin Luther King referred to them as "Our sicker white brothers", in one of his speeches. This is the spirit of my comment. I was speaking to a more subtle point. That from their perspective, they are threatened by us because of faults in thier own paradynes. They don't understand us and don't feel safe "hangin" with us; or even catering to us with mutual respect. This is the "residual paradyne or racism that I was speaking of'. This is a loss on their part. It is also empowering on our part. - "Can't touch this" - MC Hammer (It's about time they begin to rise to our standard for a change - but that's foder for another thread).
I just wanted to point up the problem of small minds and ask the question "what part do we have in abetting this mind set?" I look on such people with more pity than disdain. They are slaves to their own fears. Such people need to "Go ahead and free themselves" - (to paraphrases Fantasia)
